A newly formed Hotel Brand that focuses on the value of design and strives to create unique experiences for customers. Great importance was placed on giving each establishment a unique sense of place – in this case, Yogyakarta.

When entering the room, the most striking feature has to be the unique shape of the ceiling. Inspired by Jogja’s traditional architecture, the Joglo, the ceiling is angled to conceive a sense of height while also paying homage to the typical Jogja house. To create a more spacious layout, the vanity unit is deliberately placed outside of the ensuite. The toilet and shower are separated so that they can be used separately.
Timber finishes on the floor and built-in furniture add warmth to the space, with touches of gold and black accent (the colours of Jogja) adding a luxurious feel to the overall interior. The result is a cozy room that allows guest to truly appreciate the authenticity of Jogja hospitality. We also worked together with local Jogja-based artisan for weaved fabric known as “tenun”. The use of rattan further showcases the arts and crafts of Jogja’s people.
